UBC Bridging Program - Vantage College
Vantage College at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver Canada offers a first-year credit-bearing enriched curriculum for international students who need to improve their academic English proficiency.
Upon successful completion of their first year in the program, Vantage One students are able to register in the second year of a BA, BSc, BASC or BMGT at UBC. The Academic English Program (AEP) courses consist of two foundational credit-bearing academic reading and writing courses.
I designed two semester-length streams, one for Arts and the other for Science students. This academic English bridging course is based on current models of learning and teaching including blended learning.
